Safety & Comfort

Cold Start Technology

The INDULGE heaters incorporate a "Cold Start Technology" for improved user safety.

Below 50 degrees: heater will continue to drain for 6 seconds.

Above 50 degrees: heater will continue to drain for 12 seconds.

2-Step Thermal Protection

All INDULGE models offer an inbuilt thermostat switch for maximum safety.

This offers a 2-step safety against scalding.

At 50 degrees or above: the thermostat will close down the water supply.

After restarting, the heater will reset automatically.

If the cold water supply fails, the electrical supply will switch off automatically.

Auto Temperature Protection

AQUA INDULGE Heaters have a thermistor in the water outlet to check the outlet temperature.

The thermistor sends a signal to the relay on the PCB board to cut the temperature to a lower level.

Electricity Leakage - Safety Feature

All Indulge-models offer an additional safety feature in case of any electrical leakage.

The PCB board has a resistor fitted (modern day fuse) which fails at 100 m/Amps and cuts electrical supply to the heater.

Safety device for Manual Water Heaters

The AQUAMAX models are munually controlled water heaters and therefore have no digital or electronic features as a "Power on" light.

For maximum safety at installation, the AQUAMAX models are pre-fitted with a device, that cuts the electric supply to heater.

"Only" when the heater is full of water, the device should be removed.

(See on page 17 of the "Instruction manual" for further details)

High Pressure Protection

All INDULGE and AQUAMAX models are pre-fitted with a high pressure release pipe.

The pressure relief pipe incorporates a membrane that will burst if the internal pressure is too high - this is a safety feature.

Spares should be readily available from UK distributors.
